Weldon Clois May

Weldon was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Jane May after 62+ years of marriage and was also the last remaining member of his immediate family.

He was born in Cooke County, Texas in 1935 and moved to Hobbs, NM at an early age where he met Phyllis who was also born in Cooke County in 1937.

Weldon is survived by his children , daughter Jan Meunier and her husband Chris Meunier, Richmond, Texas, sons Darren May and his wife Christine May, Allen, Texas, and Bryan May of Plano, Texas, three grandsons, Cameron Meunier, Quinn Meunier, Karson Meunier, three granddaughters, Peyton May, Raegan May, Presley May, and his great granddaughter Willow.

Weldon so loved life and his family and was a doting Grandfather and Great Grandfather. No matter what was going on in their life he was interested and enjoyed being involved with them. He was loved by all who knew him, had a work ethic second to none, a voracious reader, huge sports fan, had a dry sense of humor, and was successful in everything he did.

He was a great man and will be sorely missed but never forgotten!

A memorial service for Weldon will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478, followed by a reception from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
