Tracy Ann Hughey

Tracy Ann Hughey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on December 15, 1966, in Chicago, IL, she brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Tracy graduated from Dulles High School and later earned her degree from the University of Houston, establishing a successful career as a supply manager. Her professional accomplishments were only rivaled by her vibrant personal life, where she thrived on adventure and connection. A passionate runner, Tracy enjoyed marathons, hiking, and trail running, embracing the beauty of the outdoors. She found joy at the beach, surrounded by the ocean, and treasured moments spent with her granddaughters, Shelby, Nina, Emma, and Harper.

Tracy was married to her husband, Jim Hughey, for 39 wonderful years. She is also survived by her loving mother, Dee Boland; her sons, Duncan, Kyle, and Bryan Hughey; her sisters, Shannon Brown and Heather Boland; and her brothers, Danny Roche and Ryan Boland. Tracy was preceded in death by her father, James Boland.

A lover of baseball, travel, music, good wine, food, and friendship, Tracy lived life to the fullest, leaving a legacy of love and laughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Houston Beagle and Hound Rescue in Tracy's memory.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

A celebration of life will be held on November 15, 2024, at 6 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, located at 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A reception will follow at the Boland Residence, where family and friends can gather to honor Tracy’s memory.
