Lynn was born on October 22, 1946, in San Antonio to Eugene W. and Marjorie Grobe Perry. Lynn was
raised in San Antonio and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio. She moved to
Houston, Texas in 1965 with her parents and brother Larry. She went to work as a legal secretary in
Houston and married Marshall K. Hensley on November 27, 1970. Lynn and Marshall were married for
52 years and had two children Jasen and Kristi. Lynn went back to work after staying home to raise her
children as an Assistant Principal Secretary for Alief Independent School District and retired from there.
She also managed the office for Marshall’s company Connector and Terminal Sales which she continued
to do while, enjoying her free time in Galveston with her friends and family.
Lynn will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and niece and a good
friend to many. Lynn is survived by her husband and best friend Marshall, son Jasen, daughter Kristi
Bush and son in law Craig Bush. Her three grandchildren, Addison Hensley, Cole Bush, and Preston
Hensley; her brother Larry Perry and sister-in-law Debbie. Brother in laws Jack and Philip, and Aunt
Carol Perry, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial in her honor will take place at 11:00am, September 10, 2022, at Sugar Creek Baptist Church,
13213 Southwest Freeway Sugar Land, Texas 77478.

Lynn will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
