KEITH O’BRIEN, age 82, passed away on October 6, 2014 of a respiratory illness. He was born in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston. He attended Baylor University on a baseball scholarship and graduated in 1954. Keith married Nancy Jeter on January 19, 1952.
Keith is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy; daughter, Kathy Bryant and husband Layne; son, Mike (Bobby) and wife Paula; grandchildren, Mandi and Brandon Bryant, Kelly O'Brien, Kimberly James (Charles), Truett O'Brien (Savanah), and Hayden O'Brien (Amber); great grandchildren, Bralyn, Remi, and Tennyson O'Brien, and Emily and Katie James; and brother Dickie O'Brien. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Tennyson and Louise Bell O’Brien; and daughter Kelly O'Brien.
A Memorial Celebration of Keith’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 10, 2014, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Keith’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
