Jillian Elizabeth June, born in Houston, Texas, on January 9, 2001, was returned to our Lord on August 25, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 23.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Olga Malone; grandfather, Don Christopher June; and her uncle, Thomas Patterson.
Jillian is survived by her mother, Regina B. June; her twin brother, Hogan June; her half-sisters, Montana June and Adella June; her father, Christopher June; her beloved grandmother, Beth “Yaya” Becker, and her husband, David; her grandfather, Ronald Romack; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who all loved her tremendously.
Jillian was a brilliant star whose bright light captivated everyone she encountered. She was loved and treasured enormously by her family and friends. Like a shooting star, Jillian passed far too quickly.
Jillian and Hogan were their mother’s entire heart. The loss of Jillian, half of her mother’s heart, is far too devastating for words. The joy Jillian brought to her mother and the love they shared is immeasurable.
Jillian and her twin brother, Hogan, had a bond that was irreplaceable and like no other. They continually inspired each other to strive for better, challenging each other to steadily improve. Hogan looked out for his twin sister from their earliest age and will hold her in his heart forever. When Jillian spoke of Hogan, her entire face lit up. When they were together, her light beamed brightest of all. Jillian’s presence completed Hogan, and they made one another whole.
Jillian and her brother were raised in Houston until the 4th grade when they moved to Bellville to stay with their grandmother through high school graduation. Jillian was loved greatly by her peers and was chosen as a cheerleader in junior high and high school, where she graduated with honors. She participated in sports, including Little League softball, basketball, and volleyball. She loved horseback riding and competed in barrels and poles. She was a member of 4-H and showed goats for two years. She loved and stayed in touch with her Bellville school friends. She attended and was a member of First Bellville Baptist.
Jillian was a well-rounded young woman who thrived in both the city and the country. She especially loved being at her Uncle Barry and Aunt Liz’s ranch, where she participated in whitetail deer hunts, fishing, and being outdoors, enjoying nature. One of her proudest accomplishments was being chosen to be on the cover of Texas Trophy Hunter’s Magazine with the massive trophy buck she harvested at the ranch.
Jillian attended Abilene Christian University, then moved to Houston and worked successfully in the service industry. Jillian made friends effortlessly and was a bright light in her community. She was loved and will be missed immensely by all who knew her.
Please remember that life is fragile and short. When you think of Jillian, celebrate her life by living yours to the fullest with kindness, endless love, and positivity.
