Terry graduated from J.K. Mullen High School in Denver, CO. He graduated with a degree in Accounting from University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. He married his college sweetheart, Mary Louise Kopecky on July 13, 1963.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Peggy McCormack.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Kopecky McCormack; his children: Erin (James J.) Buettgen, Sharon (Jason) Elder, and James A. (Kris) McCormack; and 7 grandchildren: Reid (Shelby) Elder, Madison (Caleb) Hernandez, Hunter Elder, Aiden Buettgen, Reina McCormack, Trevor Buettgen and Eden McCormack.
Terry was an avid golfer and hunter. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NRA.
Funeral Mass is at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at St. Laurence Catholic Church 3100 Sweetwater Blvd in Sugar Land, TX. There will be a private burial at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Blessing, TX at a later date.
