Guy attended Hastings High School and Sam Houston State University. While at SHSU, Guy was an active member of Kappa Alpha Order. Guy’s love of cars brought him to a career in the automobile industry starting with David Taylor Cadillac in Houston and his current job at Gulf Coast Auto in Angleton, Texas where he made many good friends.
Guy loved all things water-related with a special passion for Lake Travis. Many of his closest friends. were made while spending time on the lake.
Guy was predeceased by his mother Cheryl Kay Kamp, both sets of Grandparents and his uncle Charlie Kamp.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Mickie Kamp and beloved daughter Mandy Kamp. Also survived by his treasured brother Chance and his wife Laura & nephew Conner Kamp, his dear father Kay Kamp Sr. and his loving mother, Sharon Kamp

A visitation for Guy will be held Monday, January 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A reception will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Milano’s, 16555 Creekbend Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
