Gary Edward Bryson

Gary Edward Bryson, born on January 15, 1951, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Jessie Kathryn

Moore and William Charles Bryson, passed away peacefully at the age of 73, surrounded by

his loving family on September 30, 2024, in Sugar Land, Texas.

Gary was a man of unwavering faith, deeply rooted in his love for Christ from a young age. His life

was a testament to his devotion to the study and application of the Bible, and his faith guided him

through every aspect of his life. He was not only a dedicated servant of God but also of his country,

having honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for 23 years, retiring as a Major in

July 1993.

Gary pursued his education with passion, earning a bachelor's degree from Houston Baptist

University before continuing his studies at Boston University. After retiring from the Marine Corps,

Gary transitioned into a new role as an executive recruiter, where he continued to exemplify his

strong Christian values. His faith remained steadfast, and he was a devoted member of Berachah

Church in Houston, Texas.

A man of remarkable honor and faithfulness, Gary was not only a servant to his country but also a

devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. His presence was a blessing to all who knew him, and

his love and care for his family were unparalleled. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and

love.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Deborah Bryson; his daughter, Elizabeth Bryson

Miller, and her spouse, Christopher; his sister, Jeanine Pittman, and her spouse, Dennis; his

brother, David Brailey, and his spouse, Carol; and his mother-in-law, Joyce Porter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Kathryn Moore Bryson and William Charles

Bryson, and his brother, William Bryson.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Gary's name to the R.B.

Thieme, Jr. Bible Ministries, continuing his lifelong mission of spreading the Word of God.

Gary's life was an example of service, dedication, and faith. He will be deeply missed but forever

remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
