Ferman John (Johnny) Millette, III, passed away at approximately 3:52 am on Sunday July 18th. Johnny was born in Houston, Texas on July 11, 1949 at St. Joseph's hospital. He and his wife, Barbara, share the same birthday. They were born on the same day, in the same hospital, and delivered by the same doctor. Johnny is 30 minutes older. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferman John (Jack) Millette, Jr and Lucy Faye Craig Millette. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, daughters, Christy and Allie, his sister, Linda, his nephew, Matthew, and many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Johnny loved Jesus and his family with all of his heart. He purposed daily to love the way Christ loved. He was very well known for his humor. He loved to make people laugh whether they were a close friend or a perfect stranger. He would always find a way to make others smile. He was an avid golfer and was always seeking to perfect his golf game. He liked golf because it was all about problem solving. He felt it was a metaphor for life. You can only solve the problem that is right in front of you. He was truly a man after God's own heart. He found so much joy in giving all of his love to another without expecting anything in return. He told his family just prior to his passing that this was the secret to relationships. The night of his passing he also reminded us, "We will all be together again someday." His family requests that you all continue to pray for the repose of his soul. A visitation along with a reception will be held, Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm in The Morrow Chapel at Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek Funeral Directors, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77478.
