Delfino "Fino" Morales

Delfino “Fino” Morales, the Morales Family Patriarch, passed away on March 2, 2016. Fino left us all with a lifetime of love and music in our hearts. He was born on July 2, 1954 to Teofilo and Felista Morales. The Morales family is proud to call him husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Being the anchor of the family was his greatest accomplishment. He took pride and joy in mentoring, entertaining, encouraging and loving every one of his family members,

Fino’s lifelong role began in 1975 as he left the United States Army to begin his journey to becoming a father to his 10 brothers and sisters: Juan C. Morales (Little John), Anita Arias, Teofilo Morales (Tim Tim), Roel Morales (Roy), Gavier Morales (Harvey), Ismael Morales, Emilio Morales (Milo), Julie Jeter, Maria Elena Cisneros (Lena), and Maria D. Ramirez (Pt).

It was in 1976 that he was joined in marriage to his soulmate and soon to be matriarch, Robbie Hernandez, and the legacy of their family began to grow. In 1977 they welcomed their only son, Delfino Morales Jr., followed by numerous nephews and nieces; grandchildren, Daniel and Trinity, and his beloved dogs Chico, Hot Rod and Cookie. Through the years he continued to love his family and his family loved him.

The visitation will be held on Sunday March 6, 2016 at The Settegast-Kopf Company Funeral Directors, 15015 Southwest Freeway Sugar Land, TX 77478 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 7, 2016 in The Morrow Chapel at The Settegast-Kopf Company with the burial to follow at San Isidro Cemetery, 1351 Sugar Creek Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77498. After all services, a reception will take place at VFW, 2200 Staffordshire Rd, Missouri City, TX 77489.
