Carolyn Rose Calder, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Missouri City, Texas. Carolyn was born on March 23,1941 to the late Harriet and Matthew Keller. She was the loving mother to Pam Calder Caro and husband Tony, Joe Calder and wife Jennifer; grandmother of Alyssa and Anthony Caro. She is survived by two siblings Dennis Keller and Diane Ellis and many loved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carolyn was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Menomonee Falls. She attended Menomonee Falls High School where she graduated in 1959. She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and joined a bowling league where she met her future husband James Calder. They were married on December 3, 1966 and after the birth of their first child moved to El Paso, Texas to raise their family out of the cold weather. They spent the next 23 years in El Paso before relocating to Houston, Texas to be near their children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years James Calder of Baltimore, Maryland.
Memorial service will be held at Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek in Sugar Land, Texas on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 4pm. Reception immediately following the service. The family requests any donations be made to Saving Our Companion Animals - Fort Bend County at www.soca-fbc.org.
