Robert Alan Moskowitz

Robert was a graduate of Spring Valley High School '66, Rockland Community College '68, and SUNY Buffalo '70. He recently retired after 29 years of owning and operating Gourmet Garden Restaurant in Nanuet. A passionate community member, high school swim official, amateur photographer, loving father, and the ultimate Papa, Robert is survived by the loves of his life, his granddaughters, Olivia and Anna Levin, his daughters Ellen Moskowitz and Amanda Levin, his son-in-law, Jesse Levin, and his partner, Eileen Landau, all living in Rockland, as well as his brother, Bryan, living in Florida, along with countless cousins, neices, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his b'shert, Louise, who passed in 2008.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 13 at the Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, NY, followed by burial at Brick Church Cemetery. The family will be sitting Shiva at the family home through Friday evening.

Donations can be made in Robert's memory to the Liver Transplant Center at Westchester Medical Center.
