Raphael J. Nepolitan of Suffern, NY passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the age of 90. He was born in Brooklyn on April 26, 1923. After graduating High School Raphael joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served valiantly during WWII. He later obtained his bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall. Then he began a 36 year career as an Accountant with Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River and met his lifelong love Virginia, who predeceased him after 55 years of marriage.
Raphael is survived by his loving children; Jayne Koch and her husband Bruce, Janet Hulse and her husband Roy and John Nepolitan. Along with his cherished grandchildren; Kevin Koch and his wife Kristin, Ryan Hulse and Matthew Hulse.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 10:00am with the interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
