Marilyn Jenkins of Newburgh, NY passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. She was 93 years old.
Marilyn was born on March 12, 1930 to the late Irving and Mary (Gannon) Brown in Suffern, NY. She was a retired Executive Secretary at Avon after 30 years of service. She was married to George R. Jenkins for 63 years and he predeceased her in 2014.
She is survived by her beloved sons, George D. Jenkins and his wife Linda and Keith Jenkins; caring brother, James R. Brown and his wife Ea Jensen; loving granddaughter Brianna Rockermann and her husband Peter; great grandson, Miles Rockermann and her sister-in-law, Joann Brown. Marilyn was also predeceased by her son Craig Jenkins in 2010 and her brother David Brown.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Rt. 59 Suffern, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon also at the Funeral Home. Interment of Ashes will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
