John G. Martin, Jr. of Pomona, NY. Died December 3, 2012 at age 75. Born April 18, 1937 in Yonkers, NY to John G. and Marie (Apicelli) Martin, Sr. John served honorably with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts for Troop56 in Yonkers, a Choir Member and CCD Volunteer for St. Boniface Church. Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Suzanne (nee Simpson), loving children John G. Martin III (wife Linda), Angela Asaro (husband Ron), Darryl Martin (wife Annie), Dean Martin, Heather Figueroa (husband Errol) and Mary Kate Borello (husband Christopher), cherished grandchildren Dakota, Darryl, Amanda, Nicholas, John, Chandler, Danny, Lucas, Ella, Keira and Will and a caring brother Anthony Martin (husband Bob). Predeceased by siblings Angelo, Louis and Jeanne. Visitation Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Mass Friday 10:30am at St. Boniface Church in Wesley Hills followed by an Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings on Hudson.
