George E. Donohue of Suffern, N.Y. entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 8th, at Ramapo Manor nursing and Rehab center. He was 80 Years old. George was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was an Accountant/Treasurer for Stork Bowen Engineering, Handy & Harman, N.Y., and AT&T wireless, in Paramus N.J. retiring in 2004. George was pre-deceased by his parents George Sr. & Rose McFadden Donohue of Brooklyn & Otisville N.Y. Surviving are his Loving wife, Joan Marie Galvin Donohue of Suffern, Sons Chris Donohue of Suffern, Thomas Donohue of Nanuet, N.Y. Beloved Sister Betty (Bob) Moran, of Cherry Hill, N.J. Brother Edward Donohue, of Lake Ariel, Pa. He was the brother in law of Marie Galvin McGrath of Mountainside N.J. William (Maureen) Galvin of New City, Eugene Galvin of Mahopac, Dorothy Galvin of Harriman and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. George was also pre-deceased by Cathy Donohue, Frank McGrath, William & Mary Galvin. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, in Suffern. As per Georges’ wishes, services were provided by Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, and Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead.
