Geoffrey Stephen Blake

He was 58 years old. Geoffrey was born on April 21, 1965 in Suffern, NY to the late Hilton John Blake and Eilene Mary Conklin. He worked for Lantelme, Kurens & Associates, PC Engineering and Land Surveying.

A Lifelong resident of Sloatsburg Geoff loved his family friends, the gang at work, (ramen noodles, pickles, peppercinis, olives, new jeans, ice tea, coffee, sunglasses and vanilla ice cream at Earnie’s) and the New York Yankees.

He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and loved fishing the local streams and lakes whenever he got the chance. He spent many summer weekends camping with friends or working in his backyard garden. In recent years he had begun traveling with his girlfriend Sandra Parolie, both brought him much joy and happiness. His smiling face, and fondness for baseball caps, will be remembered by many.

He is survived by his sister Mary Blake of Sloatsburg NY, his brother Garrett and his wife Erin, and their children Will, Hunter and Logan Blake of Rock Tavern, NY, as well as by his long time girlfriend, Sandra Parolie of Pine Bush NY.

He was predeceased by his Mother Eilene, his Father Hilton, and brothers Richard and Jon Blake.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 22nd from 4-8pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 where a funeral service will take place at 7:30pm. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to your favorite charity.
