Elizabeth J. Rubin

Elizabeth “Beth” Jeanette Rubin of Airmont, N.Y., passed away with her family by her side on July 30, 2015 at age 65. Born August 13, 1949 in New York City to John T. and Elizabeth P. (Rosensteel) O’Hare. Beth was a graduate of Suffern High School and Ithaca College where she received her B.S. degree in Physical Therapy. Beth's exceptional kindness and generosity touched everyone around her. Always putting her children and grandchildren first was what she lived for. Beth was always thankful for everyday she had and found the good out of every bad situation. She never gave up and absolutely loved life.

Survived by her beloved husband Robert, loving children Tammy (husband Michael), Candace and Sandra and cherished grandchildren Gabrielle, Katie, Jesse, Allison, MacLean and Jack. Predeceased by John and Elizabeth O’Hare, Aunt Margaret O’Hare, Grandmother Dorothy Rosensteel and Great Aunt Ethel Gavin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Beth's funeral Mass took place on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern followed by an interment at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
