She will be remembered with love and sorely missed by her family: daughter and son-in-law Joan and Tom Facelle; grandchildren, Tommy and Jenny, Amanda and Peter, and Steve and Abby; and great-grandchildren Ryan, Wesley, and Everett.
Elizabeth grew up in Middletown, Pennsylvania and worked for many years as an administrative supervisor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She retired and moved to Suffern, NY to enjoy life with her family. She became an active member of the Suffern Women’s Club and Airmont Crafters of the Airmont Lutheran Church. She was an avid reader and outstanding cook and baker. Her Seven Layer Cookies are legendary. During her final years, her activities became limited, but she continued to take great joy in celebrating weddings, birthdays, and holidays with her family, in whom she took great pride. She will always remain in our hearts as an example of a life well-lived with love, grace, dignity, and integrity.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembering Elizabeth through donations to the Suffern Free Library, 210 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY 10901
