Ruth B. (Buttner) Benedict of Needham and formerly of Weston died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Gordon M. Benedict. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Holly B. and Lincoln Holmes of Wellesley; her grandson, Bradford D. Holmes of Los Angeles, CA and her granddaughter, Marion McClure and her husband, Andrew of Morgantown, WV. She also leaves her great granddaughter, Ila Eadie McClure and her sister and brother in law, Priscilla and Robert Breck of New London, NH. She was the sister of the late Edwin Buttner. Private interment will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. A complete notice will follow at a later time.
