Ronald William Jagiello, age 90, of Sudbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024. He was born on January 3, 1934, in Adams, Massachusetts to the late Mary (Maslanka) Jagiello and Boslaugh Jagiello.
Ronald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Ronald was a genius. He was a manufacturing engineer who dedicated his time to running his own business until the age of 88. Ronald was a long-time resident of Sudbury for 57 years. He loved gardening and spent many hours cultivating and tending to his garden, creating a peaceful sanctuary for himself and his loved ones to enjoy.
Ronald's inventive spirit led him to create and design new things, always seeking to improve and innovate. His love for gardening and creating beautiful landscapes brought him great joy and fulfillment.
Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Katherine Jagiello, and his sons Michael Atchue and Patrick Atchue. The passing of Patrick Atchue, just one week before Ronald's own passing, had left a deep void in the hearts of the family.
Ronald is survived by his daughters Sandralee Welch and her husband Charles of Sudbury, and Jaqueline Sheehan of Florida; his grandchildren Shawna Scerra, Dustin Welch, Robin Sheehan, David Sheehan, and Chris Denaro; and his 10 great-grandchildren, including his pride and joy Kaylee, Allison, and Lilly.
He is also survived by a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Ronald's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's foundation in Ronald's memory.
Ronald will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved and respected by all who were touched by his presence.
