Patrick Michael Carroll

Patrick Michael Carroll, 62, of Lancaster, MA, formerly of Sudbury, MA passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of December 25th, 2023 at Clinton Hospital. Born on January 11, 1961, he was the son of the late Warren and Helen (Brady) Carroll. He is predeceased by his brothers Warren Jr., and Timothy, and his wife Ann Carroll. He leaves behind his lifetime partner, Pamela Rowe, along with her two sons, Steven and Matthew. He was a devoted father to his four girls, Rachel, 36, Allison, 34, Samantha, 23, and Kate, 19. He was also the very proud “Poppa” of his grandsons Benjamin, Keagan, and Logan. He also leaves behind his siblings, Kathy Carlson of Milton, Michael and Joanne Carroll of Marlboro, Sandra Carroll of Berlin, and Marion and Don Clark of Uxbridge, along with several nieces and nephews that he adored.

Patrick grew up in Sudbury, and was a 1979 graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. He later earned an Associate’s degree from Franklin Institute in Boston. Patrick worked as a Foreman at the Sudbury Water District for 35 years. He enjoyed his job, but was looking forward to his retirement. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Pat had a great sense of humor, and a winning smile. He was very caring and always put other people’s needs ahead of his own. Pat never forgot a birthday, and always reached out to send well wishes.

Pat loved listening to his seventies music, driving his large Suburban or his ‘85 Lincoln Town Car, and spending time outdoors. Pat was a great cook, and especially liked grilling. He was always the designated grill master at the family’s fourth of July celebrations. Pat will be missed terribly by family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to get to know him.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at the Duckett Funeral Home Of J.S. Waterman & Sons, 656 Boston Post Rd., in Sudbury, MA, 01776. A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion on Wednesday, January 3rd at 12pm.
