Max Patrick McCormick

Max was born on March 5, 2014 in Boston, MA, to parents Carla R. Horn McCormick and Michael Patrick McCormick. In his short life, he touched so many with his spirit, which will live on for eternity in our hearts. Max loved his family and friends, school, hockey, soccer, trains, trucks, country music, and so many of life’s simple joys. His happy places were at the beach in Hull, MA, on the lake in Long Lake, Maine, and at the toddler park in Sudbury. Max was fascinated by fire trucks and he wanted to be a daddy and a firefighter when he grew up.

Max could light up the room and your day with just his smile. He was a sweet, cheerful and carefree son, a loving and compassionate brother, a cherished grandson and great grandson, a deeply adored nephew, a fun and playful cousin, and an engaged and curious student.

Max is survived by his parents, Carla and Mike and brother, Mason Daniel; grandparents Rebecca Rosen-Horn and Max Horn of Hull, MA and Cindy Caron McCormick and Richard McCormick of Saco, ME; great grandfather Patrick Caron of South Portland, ME; aunt Jill McCormick of Holyoke, MA, uncles Todd Horn of Waltham, MA, and Randy Horn of Boston, MA; and cousins Tyler Kerrick and Luna Tabb of Holyoke, MA.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Duckett – J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Route 20), Sudbury. All guests are encouraged to bring a loose photo of Max to be displayed. A memory book will be available at the funeral home for family and friends to hand-write entries as a keepsake for Max’s family.
