Lois G. Schiappa

Born November 3, 1946, in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Wilson) Schiappa.

Lois was raised in Connecticut and graduated from Suffolk University. She was a resident of Sudbury for the past 24 years. Mrs. Schiappa worked as a Human Resources Leader for fifty years until her retirement in 2014.

Beloved wife of John H. Derry, M.D.; loving stepmother of Richard Derry, Johnathan Derry and his wife Amy all of Pawtucket, RI; proud grandmother of Celeste Derry of Pawtucket, RI; cherished sister of Wilsene Grout and her husband Raymond of Dummerston, VT, the late Gary Schiappa. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Janice Schiappa of Huntington, CT; two nieces and one nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Parish of Sudbury, 327 Concord Road, Sudbury. Interment at Mt. Wadsworth Cemetery in Sudbury will be private.

Calling hours will be held at Duckett Funeral Home of J.S. Waterman and Son's Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury.
