Jim was a passionate alumnus and fan of Syracuse University (Bachelor’s 1971 and MBA 1973) and loved college sports, especially the Final Four which was an annual trip that he loved taking with family and friends. Jim was a loyal member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. As a native of Pittsburgh, Jim was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Jim made a point of seeking the opportunity to do three good deeds each day, some small and some that changed the lives of others for the better on a much grander scale. The good that he put out in the world this way came back to him many times over through amazing friendships and adventures on three continents.
