Frances Louise Galligan

Galligan, Frances Louise (Murphy) of Sudbury, died Wed. May 20, 2015. She was 94 and the wife of the late Robert W. Galligan. A resident of Sudbury for 61 years, she was a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and for many years worked with special needs children and the Bridges Program in the Sudbury Public Schools. She was formerly a volunteer for F.I.S.H. as well as the local food pantry. Mrs. Galligan was also an election worker at the polls and a member of the Sudbury Garden Club. She is survived by her children: Ellen Sabino and her husband John, of Wellesley, Robert W. Galligan Jr. of Truro, Freida Colleton and her husband John, of Clinton, Martha Galligan and her husband Todd Sagar, of Richmond, VT, Marc Galligan and his wife Millie, of Fair Haven, NJ, and Stephen J. Galligan and his wife Midge, of West Newbury. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wed., May 27, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury followed by interment at Mt. Wadsworth Cemetery in Sudbury. Visitation will be Tues., May 26, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at the Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20 Sudbury Memorial donations should be directed to Charles River Center, 59 E.
