He was born in Worcester, MA on June 30, 1944 to Charles Sr. and Helen Rockett (Sullivan).
He graduated from Needham High School, Bates College, earning his MBA at Rutgers University. He was a partner of Rockett & Girouard C.P.A.’s in Concord, MA.
Ed was a member of Framingham Country Club for 36 years and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed spending time with family, swimming and biking in Falmouth.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara, his cherished daughters Tracy Hughes and her husband Michael of Natick MA and Melissa Behnke and her husband Andrew of Old Lyme CT., and his grandchildren, Lauren and Madison Hughes of Natick, MA and Blake and Brady Behnke of Old Lyme CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ed s’ memory to The American Heart Association or the Alzheimers’s Association.
Private funeral arrangements will be held with Duckett Funeral Home, Sudbury MA.
