Ronald Lee "John" Moran

Ronald Lee “John” Moran, 62, formerly of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. He was born February 15, 1959, a son of the late Herbert Maynard and Sadie Bell (Campbell) Moran. Ronald was a former employee of Campbell’s Septic Service and Roto Rooter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Jimmy Moran, Sr., Calvin Moran and sister-in-law Lois Moran. Survivors include two brothers, James Moran of Stuarts Draft, Dale Moran and wife Chris of Stuarts Draft; sisters, Elaine Moran and companion, Michael Truslow of Staunton, Paula Bruce and husband, Victor of Staunton; sisters-in-law, Kay Moran and Debra Moran both of Stuarts Draft. He also leaves a special friend, Lora Riley. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Frank Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
