Jean Wilson Diehl

She was born on September 19, 1940 to the late Charles Berry and Julia Margaret (Brown) Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Burton Diehl; son, George William “Billy” Dixon, and a brother, James Edward Williams.

Survivors include her four children, Lee Edward “Ed” Palmer of Stuarts Draft, Martha Lynn Gienger of Staunton, Robert Kirk Dixon of Stuarts Draft, Susan Fay Combs and husband, Shannon of Stuarts Draft; two grandchildren, Julia Fay Gienger and fiancé Kiyan Adkins, Brenton Everette Ingram and companion Natalia Soltevo; two great grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Jean Powell and Faith Ann Marie Powell.

Jean also leaves a number of extended family members and friends to cherish her memory.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor David Vaughan officiating.
