Donnie Wayne Puckett

He was born February 20, 1944, a son of the late Maury McGuffie and Mary Frances (Scott) Puckett.

Donnie was a tool sharpener by trade and was a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay (Brown) Puckett; siblings, Bobby Puckett, William Puckett, June Puckett and Betty Burnett.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph Puckett and wife, Sharon, Douglas Puckett, Benjamin Puckett and wife, Nedra; grandchildren, Evan, Sarah, Luke, Ella, Skylar, Jonathan, Olivia, Alex Puckett, Jacob Wyrick, Erin Snell and husband, Ray; great-grandchildren, Hudson Snell, Katie and Ruby Snell, Caleb Puckett, Zach Puckett, Austin Puckett and Greyland Puckett.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Mountain View Mennonite Church, Love Rd., Lyndhurst with Pastor Bruce Hankee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be T. J. Connor, Jason Walker, Scott Lunsford, John Hodge, Gordon Hendrich and Tim Sturdivant.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
