Connie Theresa (Rhodes) Pardee, 68, of Stuarts Draft passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born January 23, 1955 in Staunton, she was the daughter of the late Carl Thomas Rhodes, Sr. and Frances (Chandler) Rhodes. On August 25, 1973 she married Robert Clarke Pardee, Jr. The two shared 49 years of wonderful marriage together.
Connie was a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Hallmark Store in Waynesboro. Connie greatly enjoyed living life and spending time with her family. She loved to go fishing for crappy, cross-stitch, working puzzles, crocheting, and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Clarke Pardee, Sr. of Stuarts Draft; two sons, Bryan Clarke Pardee and wife, Angela of Lyndhurst and Robbie Pardee and fiancé, Amanda Hawkins of Harrisonburg; three grandchildren, Jordan Pardee, Jaime Sue Dunham and husband, Taylor, and Ah-Ghia Jones; brother, Carl Thomas Rhodes, Jr. of Stuarts Draft; and her two beloved dogs, Belle and Cooper.
A private family memorial service will be held.
There will be no formal visitation.
