Teresa Barton Ramsey

Teresa was born on July 2, 1961 in Wachula, Florida. She was the oldest of four children. She spent her career as a fire medic at the Martin County Fire Rescue until her retirement in 2014.

Teresa was also an active member at West Side Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Rusty, three children, Matthew, Ariel, and Danielle; and, four grandchildren. She is further survived by her parents, Lonnie and Linda DePriest, her three siblings, Lisa DePriest French, Nancy DePriest Williams and Lonnie DePriest, II.

A visitation will be held at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm. A burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Florida at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Teresa’s name to the Indian River State College Foundation to support students who are enrolled in the Fire Academy.
