He was born June 4, 1923 in Cincinnati and moved with his family to Palm City in 1926.
Bobby was a decorated World War II veteran having survived the Battle of the Bulge. Bobby was one of the last of the “greatest generation” and will be dearly missed.
Bobby worked for the family general contracting business and after retirement he spent his time at his home in North Georgia where he enjoyed collecting antiques.
He was a member of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church of Jensen Beach, Florida.
Bobby is survived by his sister Patsy and her husband W. F. Cone; sister in law, Thelma Hodapp, lifelong family friend William “Boffie” Withrow; children, grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife Letha of 50 years, his brothers, Ben Jr., Herbert and Jack Hodapp; sisters, Dorothy Hammond, Winnie Langford, and Margie Glass.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
