Jeanne Frances Keeler

Jeanne Frances Jones of Stuart, FL left this earth to be with the Lord on March 30, 2023. ”Peaches” as she was affectionately called was the only child of John J. .Jones and Ann Frances Fern. She was born in New York City, New York. She was predeceased by her husband John C. Keeler.

Jeanne was a resilient lady and was truly a member of the Greatest Generation. Following graduation from high school, she attended nursing school, but followed a different career path working as an executive secretary for a major publishing firm. A favorite family memory is when she volunteered to teach all the neighborhood ladies how to drive. Her strong faith was always with her throughout her long life. During Jeanne’s retirement years she was active in her church and was a member of the Lay Carmelites of St. Joseph’s Parish.

Jeanne valued her many friends and she was particularly fond of a good game of pinochle or euchre. During football season, Sunday afternoons found her cheering for her favorite football team, the New York Giants.

Jeanne is survived by her six children, Ann Frances Mickel (Dick), John, Michael (Patricia), Dennis (Christine), Justine Mason, and Claire Dibble (Mark). Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sharon, John Scott, Sean, Kerri Ann, Christina, Brennan, Meaghan, Denise, Jennifer, Teresa, Stanton, James, Michael, Shaun, eighteen great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel on Wednesday, April 5th. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon with the service immediately following. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
