James Daniel Lacy

Born March 12, 1936 in Winchester, KY to Winford C Lacy and Marjorie Price. He graduated from Mainland High class of 54 and Barry University.

Survivors include wife of 64 yrs, Marlene McCabe, Tequesta, FL and three children: Patrick C Lacy (Lina), Jupiter, FL Annette C Lacy , Titusville, FL and Christine Lacy Lucas (Mark), Titusville, FL. Two Grandchildren, Damion M Lucas (Maricel), Mims, FL and John Patrick Lacy, Jupiter, FL and three great grandchildren, Sawyer, Elliana and Shepard James. Brother David Lacy (Bettie) Inverness, FL, sisters-in-law Carol Lacy (Robert), Ormond Beach, FL and Frances McCabe Broughton (Tim), Cocoa Beach, FL. Many nephews and nieces.

Dan spent 40 yrs at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Kennedy Space Center as a member of many launch teams for Pan American Airways, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing.

He loved his family, enjoyed Mainland reunions, volunteering at Sarah's Kitchen and traveling , visiting every state including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

A Great man and an even greater husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, colleague and friend. His thoughtful manner and terrific sense of humor will be greatly missed.
