Eva had one of the biggest hearts you will ever find. She was always ready to try and help those she saw struggling. Her door was always open as well as an ear if you just needed to talk. She was known to help with school supplies, purchase winter coats, birthday or Christmas gifts. If it was within her power to help, she was there. Eva loved decorating her house, especially for the holidays, Christmas being her favorite. Decorating, shopping for gifts and a house full of people made her world bright. She was an excellent cook, but she also enjoyed reading, working jigsaw puzzles and sewing. When she had to start slowing down, she would pick a series on TV and marathon through it, then find another series to watch.
Eva loved her family and friends dearly and saddened that she couldn’t chat with them on the phone in her last days. She wanted everyone to know that she really appreciated their concern.
Her absence is already felt, but she is no longer in pain, and she’s now strolling down those streets of gold.
