It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Paul Spychka of Stony Plain, Alberta on March 31, 2024 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his daughter Tammy Irg (Philip), as well as his cherished twin grandsons Ethan and Tristan. For his grandsons, he had arms that were always open for a hug, for books to be read, and a special love that is never-ending.
Paul will be dearly missed by his siblings Iris Mudryk (Steve), Edna Hirst (Geoffrey) and Orest Spychka (Dianna).
Paul was predeceased by his wife Olga, his parents John and Sophie; brothers Eddie, Steve, Bill and Roy, and his sisters Elsie, Mary, Ellen, Lil and Ann. Paul will also be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Staying connected to family and friends was important to Paul. As a resident of the Town of Stony Plain for over 40-years, and having worked for the town for 20-years, Paul maintained many friendships with those living in the area. He always had a story to tell and he was always in the know about everything that was going on in the town that he loved and gave service to for so many years.
There are no words to say how much he was loved and how much he is missed.
