So sorry Josie for your loss.
It was good seeing, and spending some time with you and your family at the Memorial. As you said the shock comes when the family go back to life's duties.

Norm and I did the practicum phase of our 6B/PA course together in Cold Lake in 1976. He was stationed in Calgary and I was in Edmonton at the time. We commuted to Cold Lake on many ugly Sunday winter nights. During our time together I gained tremendous respect for the medic and the man. My sincere condolences on your loss as we in his military family feel a loss. Well done old friend, go in peace.

Saddened to learn of Norm's passing. He most influential during the early day of my military career, and he had the ability to positively channel my youthful exuberance... Over the years, our paths would occasionally cross and we would tell tall tales of times in Hangar 6 in Calgary, military exercises on the Alaska Highway, and the Camp Wainwright MIR. My most sincere condolences to the Westwell Family.
