A native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Linda moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1966. It was in Calgary that Linda became a mother to her two sons, Chris and Monte. Linda and family, moved to Spruce Grove in 1976 where she remained in the area for the remainder of her life. Linda married Kenneth Burant on November 4, 1989 which extended her family to include 3 additional sons – Lyle, Curtis and Trevor.
Linda worked for Alberta Health Services until her retirement in June of 2010. In addition to her career, she enjoyed camping, family gatherings, baking and supporting the community whether it be visiting with the regulars at the Spruce Grove bingo hall or shopping for groceries for those who couldn’t.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ken, sons Lyle (Lisa), Chris (Emily), Curtis (Pook), Monte (Jodie) and Trevor (Melanie) and 8 grandchildren; Amanda, Jessica, James, Destany, Justin, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Ryan and her brother Terry (Susan).
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Laura and brother Jimmy.
