Helen Elvira McInerney

February 24, 1928 - May 1, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Elvie, a source of strength, wisdom, and love in our family. Her conversations were always filled with insightful dialogue about life and current events, reflecting her commitment to understanding and engaging with the world around us.

She had a unique ability to unravel life's complexities and guide us toward clarity and resolution.

She truly cared about the world we live in, keeping up with new ideas and actively engaging all of us in the discourse. Her legacy is one of intellectual curiosity, moral fortitude, and boundless love, always tempered with her sense of humour - a legacy that will continue to guide and influence us.

Elvie will be forever loved and cherished by her daughters: Elvira (Peter), Georgeann (Bruce), Colleen, Kathleen (Rob), and Kim (Kevin); her grandchildren: Michael (Melenie), Kaleen, Peter, Kateri, Hughie, Jason, Jeremy, Andrew, Shaleigh (Tyler), Katrysha, Emily (Kris), and Colin and by her great-grandchildren: Mia, Rew and Linkin.

Elvie was pre-deceased by her husband, Michael.
