Harvey Giese

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Harvey Giese announce his peaceful passing at the age of 87.

Harvey was born on the farm to August and Louise Giese. He truly was a farmer at heart, he made it his life’s work to raise cattle, horses, dogs and take care of the family farm. He married Evelyn Litzenberger and together they raised two beautiful children. Harvey was a dedicated and devoted farmer, always taking pride in his achievements.

Harvey is lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 65 years Evelyn; his children Bruce (Allegra) Giese and Barb (Don) Williams; his 6 grandchildren Scot (Stephanie) Williams, Jillian (Brendan) Sherman, Amber (Chris) Berger, Rachel (Chris) Brand and Eric Giese; his 5 great-grandchildren Cayden and Carston Brand, Annabelle and Daniel Sherman and Eden Berger as well as numerous other family and friends.

Harvey was predeceased by his parents August and Louise; his brothers Albert (Anne) Giese and Bob (Madeline) Giese and his sister Marvelene (Arthur) Hennig.

A Funeral Service will be held for Harvey at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church of Golden Spike, 51202 Range Road 274, Parkland County, AB.
