Audrey Doreen Goerz

1952 - 2023

With heavy hearts, the family of Audrey D. Goerz announces her passing on February 2, 2023 at the age of 70 years after a lengthy battle with kidney failure. She is now at peace and in the care of her Lord.

Audrey is survived by her brother Clifford (Audrey); nephews Curtis (Maureena) and Darren (Jocelyn); her great-nieces Emily, Meagan (Colin), and Hunter; her great-nephew Brandon as well as many other extended family and friends.

Audrey was predeceased by her parents Henry K (2001) and Lydia (2018) Goerz.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and doctors of Westview Hospital, Royal Alex, Edmonton General and University Hospital for the great care over the past five months.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 101 McLeod Avenue, Spruce Grove, Alberta T7X 2H8.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to either St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church (Spruce Grove), Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum, 5120 – 41 Avenue, Stony Plain, AB T7Z 1L5 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
