Robert Bob C. Daniel

Robert C (Bob) Daniel of Conyers, died April 15, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 21, 1930 in South Boston, Virginia to Sally and Jack Daniel who preceded him in death. Also preceding him were brothers Douglas Daniel and Ralph Daniel. Mr. Daniel served his country with three years in the Virginia National Guard followed by 21 years in the Air Force including one year in Viet Nam. He later worked as a claims representative for Aetna Insurance Co and then Sentry Insurance Co. Surviving him are wife Frances and four children: Bobby (Connie) Daniel of Covington, Ga, David (Priscila) Daniel of Marietta, GA, Andrew (Janelle) Daniel of Jasper, GA, and Laura (Pete) Blentson of Conyers, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren: Kaylee, and Ryan; Brandon, Dustin, Lindsay, Jonathan, Henrique, Elysia, Deanna, and Karis.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday April 20, 2010 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Stone Mountain Chapel, 1355 Rockbridge Rd., Stone Mountain, GA 30087. The family will visit with friends from 11 AM to 1 PM with service to follow at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Crossroads Hospice of Atlanta, 1975 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 500, Tucker, GA 30084
