Words cannot describe how much love we have for Wesley. He was born on July 7, 1989 in Stockton, CA and from that day he was showered with love and we will continue to keep him in our memory forever. He passed away on November 2, 2018 at the age of 29. He graduated from Edison High School and he was a valued employee of Restoration Hardware in Tracy, CA.
Wesley’s memory will live on through his loving mother, Sylvia Ortiz, father Wesley Major, son Mack Major, unborn son, siblings Kayla and Jason Major and Arlene Bambico, whom he shared two children with, as well as many other family members and friends.
We all have different memories of Wesley, but one thing we all remember is the way he loved and lived for his family and friends. He was a light in our lives from the very beginning. He was an adventurous child who was obsessed with “Ninja Turtles” and who loved dancing; especially when we started chanting “Go Ninja Go!” His mom would enter him in pageants for boys and he would always win “most chubby baby!”
Everyone that met Wesley was immediately greeted with a warm smile and his beautiful hazel eyes. He had an incredibly contagious laugh that could fill a room. His family and friends meant the world to him and everyone could always count on him. He was well respected and loved at work. He was a manager, a mentor, and a friend with strong values and an amazing work ethic. He was a strong leader who helped many of his family members. He took care of everyone and no one was ever left behind.
Wesley was also very passionate about his sports teams; he was a Raiders fan through and through. He never gave up on them, win or lose. He was also a huge fan of the Oakland A’s. Wesley brought his passion into everything he did and everything he loved. He was also a prankster; he was funny, goofy and a kid at heart.
Wesley was kindhearted, thoughtful, and respectful. He touched so many lives and took his fatherhood very seriously. He was very focused on his son and stopped at nothing to provide a happy life for him. He will be watching over both Mackie and his unborn son (Wesley Francisco Major Jr.) from above. May his courage, strength, and tenacity carry him through his next journey.
Until we meet again, rest in peace our beautiful soul.
