Born on November 08, 1963 in Stockton, CA and passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the young age of 58. Robert graduated from the CA Cadet Corps in 1978 and from Franklin High School. He went on to serve in the United States Army in 1983. He served in the 1/67 ADA 9th Infantry Div., 3/67 ADA Kitzingen Germany, 2/5 ADA 2nd AD, and 4/5 ADA 1st Cavalry Div. Robert also served in the Persian Gulf War. After honorably serving his country, Robert moved back to CA and attended San Joaquin Delta College graduating with an Associate's degree and attended CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Robert worked for the Stockton Record and as a Youth Counselor. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones, but always remembered.
He is preceded in death by his parents Albert L. Franco Sr. and Mary C. Franco. He is survived by his children Christina Marie Franco of San Diego, CA, and Cathleen Elaine Franco of Stockton, CA; Devoted grandfather to Kirsten, Keyera, Cameron, Kylan, Kynzee; Loving brother to Ann Grace Rodriguez of Sacramento, CA, Helene Rodriguez of Stockton, CA, Linda Halbert of Arkansas, Manuel Torres of Anaheim, CA and all of his loved ones.
Friends are welcome for the visitation 4 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022, with the Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at De Young Memorial Chapel, Stockton, CA. Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 1663 E Main St, Stockton, CA. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
