Margaret L. Eby

Margaret is survived by her husband, Steven, her son, Matthew, her daughter, Jamie, her step-daughters Emily and Kelly, her grandchildren, Sonja, Zia, and Sullivan, and her sister Kris Bonnani of Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Marcella Clarke, of Stockton.

Margaret was born on June 26, 1957 in Modesto, California to James and Marcella Clarke. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975, and in 1978 began working for Pacific Bell/ AT&T as a telephone operator. It was at the phone company where she met her husband Steven, and they married on May 5, 1996.

Her family remembers her as a warm, loving, and patient woman who was always there to listen, guide, and comfort them. She loved going to the movies, watching her favorite television shows, shopping for antiques and trinkets, and travelling with her family.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 and Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N California St, Stockton, CA 95202. A Chapel service will occur Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N California St, Stockton, CA 95202. Final resting place will occur Friday, September 17, 2021 at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton, CA.

All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Margaret’s life. Her family would like to thank St. Joseph’s medical staff, and Bristol Hospice for their care.
