KATHLEEN JOANN SEARS Passed Sunday December 27, 2015 in Stockton after an extended battle with COPD Kathleen was born January 11, 1946 in Stockton, CA to loving parents, of proud Irish decent, John and Dorothy Burke. She graduated from Stagg High School in 1964 and went on to receive a degree from Pepperdine University. Kathy was noted as a professional and dedicated employee in her career working in the insurance and Human Resources professions. She is remembered for her kindness, generosity, and concern for others and also a terrific sense of humor. Kathy is greatly missed and lovingly survived by her husband; Bobby her son; Wayne Burke Baker her daughter in law; Beverly, her two wonderful granddaughters; Caroline and Sarah and many friends and family. Those who knew her are sure that she is in heaven telling the latest jokes to the angels.
