David Garcia

David Garcia was born on October 26, 1972 in Baldwin Park to David and Yolanda Garcia. He departed this life on Friday, September 10th, 2021 in Stockton, California. He was the oldest sibling of Rudy and Cristina Garcia. David was raised in southern California with his parents and siblings where he played little league as child. In high school, David loved art and was recognized as a talented artist numerous times. He was honored and recognized with many different awards for art work. He also was a member of a band where they covered rock style of music. On his 30th birthday he decided to venture off towards Northern California to start a new chapter in life. He started a career with Aramark as a delivery driver. In 2005, he met the love of his life Dawn Nakawatase where they dated for 3 years before they were married in 2008. They welcomed their 1st born Danielle Marisa Garcia on January 24th, 2009 and the following year they welcomed Dalilah Rose Garcia on July 15th, 2010. He started his career with Stockton Unified school district in 2015 where he met great coworkers who soon became his extended family. David loved spending all his time with his most pride possession, his family. He enjoyed spending his time BBQing, camping, fishing, family trips with his loved ones. Holidays were his favorite because it meant his entire family would all be together. David enjoyed watching movies, quoting movies, playing his guitar, listening to music and was a turkey lover.

David is survived by his wife Dawn Nakawatase Garcia, Daughters Danielle and Dalilah Garcia, Parents David Sr. of Sun City, CA and Yolanda Garcia of Ontario, CA, Brother Rudy Garcia (Jonavi) of Maui, Hawaii, Niece Alexia Brianna Jefferson (Jeffrey), Sister Cristina Adriano (Joe) Los Angeles, CA, Brother in laws Wayne Nakawatase, James Nakawatase, John Nakawatase and Mother-in-Law Joyce Nakawatase of Stockton, CA. He will be greatly missed by many surviving aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.

Memorial Service will be held in his honor at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 95219 on September 25th 2021 at 2:00 PM.
