Chew J. Wong

Chew was born in China on January 14, 1935 and immigrated to Stockton, California in 1967 where he worked at On Lock Sam Restaurant for 37 years. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with family, fishing, watching Sacramento Kings basketball games and taking annual trips to Las Vegas.

Chew is survived by his wife Lisa, their three children Peter, David, and June, daughter-in-law Wynn Sasaki, grandson Mason Wong, brother Chew Wei Wong and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father Soon Kan Wong, mother Po Kam Wong and brother Chew Doon Wong.

Services will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, California 95219 on August 21, 2022. Public viewing will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Funeral Service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Stockton Chinese Cemetery at 202 W. Mathews Rd., French Camp, California 95231. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
