

Betty Jean Waddell was born May 6, 1942. She passed away on Jan. 3, 2013. She was born in Alameda, CA and later moved to Stockton, CA where she met her husband Jim Waddell. They were married for 53 years. She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Bill and Ed Randles. She is survived by her husband, Jim, and their 3 children: Tammy Machado, Carol Takacs, and Tim Waddell. She is also survived by her sister Carla Raborn. Betty has 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a devout Christian woman and would help anyone who was in need.
Betty was self-employed as a secretary for their trucking company for 33 years. She also held jobs as a Diamond Walnut employee and CNA. In her younger years she was a registered lifeguard. Betty enjoyed playing Bunko with her big group of Bunko friends. She was involved with the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She was on bowling teams for many years. She loved playing cards and dominoes with her sister, dear friends, and grandchildren. She attended all of the grandchildren’s sports and school events.
Her service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll. She will be laid to rest at the Stockton Rural Cemetery. There will be a gathering to celebrate her life following her services.
